94, Appleton, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Carolina Manor in Appleton.
She was born in Kaukauna on March 24, 1921 to the late Benedict and Theresa (De Beukelaer) Truyman.
Lorraine married Robert G. Fuerst in Kaukauna on October 23, 1943 and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a charter member and active member of St. Thomas More Parish. She also belonged to the Appleton Chapter of Christ Child for many years. She enjoyed walks with her husband and they bowled in a couple’s league. She was an excellent cook and baker, loved ice cream and favorite food was anything chocolate. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren and getting together for allof the holidays.
She is survived by her children: Patricia (David) Heller, Appleton; James Fuerst, Kaukauna and Colette (William) Younger, Hortonville; 9 grandchildren: Rick (Gina) Heller, Robb (Mary) Heller, Ryan Heller, Andrea (Jason) Weigel, Steven (Traci) Fuerst, Michael (Danni) Fuerst, Tammy (William) Woulf, Eric (special friend, Kelly Garvey) Younger and Melissa (Todd) Donnermeyer; 9 great grandchildren; a sister, Evelyn Knapp, Kaukauna and a brother Francis (Laura) Truyman, Oshkosh. She is further survived by manynieces and nephews.
Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Mary Lou; daughter-in-law, Barbara Fuerst; brothers: Benjamin (Geraldine) and Jerome (Marie) and a brother-in-law, William Knapp.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 18, 2015 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Appleton with Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may visit the family on Saturday directly at church from 9:30 AM until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
The family would like to thank the staff, past and present of Carolina Manor Assisted Living for their attention, consideration and love shown to our Mother. Also thank you to Rev. Gerald Falk, Heartland Hospice and Community Care for the many visits andkeeping Mom comfortable.
